My First Cruise

Football Season 2008

Jackson and Jeb are playing football this time. Jackson is #80 on the Texas Tech Red Raiders again. They won the Superbowl last year! Jeb is #55 on the Miami Hurricanes.

First Day of School '08

Note from Mama...
We made it through the first day of school with NO TEARS!! I DID NOT CRY!!

My sweet, baby Jeb started Kindergarten and loves it! He has been waiting to go to school for a long time because he was the ONLY one (baby of 5 grandbabies going to the same school) not "getting to go".

My class clown Jax has entered the 2nd grade and is my only child who was NOT looking forward to going back. Now that he's there, he loves it.

My lil' professor Josie is in the 4th grade and will probably take over teaching in a week or so. ;) She hates when school is out for summer and can't wait until they go back.

They have the "pleasure" of riding the bus to Pa & Grandmama's house (across the street from the school). They are on the bus for 5 minutes and are extremely excited about this. Too funny!!

All 3 are social butterflies and speak to everyone. Open House was a HUGE social event. It makes ME miss school!!

Satterfield Reunion 2008

We went to the Satterfield reunion on Saturday and we had alot of fun seeing everyone. We stayed ALL day and I held and pushed Scotty for a long time. I got him to sleep twice. He is soooo sweet.Me and Hannah did some crafts. Jax and Jebby played with Jacob the whole time. I wish they lived closer to us.

Our Garden...update

Yaaayyy!! We have had fruits and vegetables from our garden. Some of our seeds didn't do well, but we did have watermelons, squash, and tomatoes.

Our Trip to Stone Mountain

My family went to Stone Mountain Park yesterday. Brad,Maddie, and Payton met us up there. We rode the Sky ride to the top of the mountain. It was really scary going up, but coming down was OK. We rode the pedal boats, the river boat, and went through the Camp Highlands course. We went to the candy shop Mmmmmm. We stayed for the laser show, too. That was cool. Me and the boys want to go back NOW!!

ANOTHER word from Mama.....

Josie has just completed 2 weeks at Mercer University with the College for Kids program. She absolutely LOVED it and was sad to see it end. I am extremely proud of her for all of her accomplishments!! Keep up the great work, baby girl!!

Jeb Turns 5!!!

Jebby turned 5 on June 27th and he wanted his birthday party at Pa & Grandmama's house so we could go swimming. He had a Star Wars cake that Mama made. He loved all of his gifts and would get so excited everytime he opened one.

Jayme's Wedding ........and Adam's

Last week we went ot Jayme and Adam's wedding. Jeb was the ring bearer and wore a tuxedo. We had fun seeing all of the friends and family and our new cousins. They played music at the reception and we danced for a really long time! It was sooo fun! The first picture is of all of us cousins... welcome Jacob and Scotty!
Next is Hannah and me. We gave out programs for the wedding.

Garden Update 5-23-08

I am trying to blog about the progress of our garden. It is fun to check them everyday. I can't wait until we see actual vegetables and fruit on them. Take a look at our pictures.

Jackson is 7!!!!

Jackson turned 7 on May 14th (also Papa Joe's Birthday). He had his party at Grandmama and Pa's house, so we could go swimming and play outside. We had lots of food, Mama made the cake, and everyone was there.... Nana, Mama Gloria, Papa Joe, Madison, Payton, JoAnna, Hannah, Scotty, Jeb, Eli, Caleb, Betsey, and Jack's friend from his class.... Brooke. They like each other, but Mama said we can't date until we are 25 years old. I know she is teasing, I think.

Our Garden

Me, Madison, Jackson, Payton, and Jebby (& Mama & Pa & Grandmama) have planted a garden at Grandmama's house. We planted watermelons, squash, corn, carrots, tomatoes and sunflowers. Mama let us pick what seeds we wanted and I picked sunflowers. Jeb picked watermelons and Jackson picked corn. I will not eat the tomatoes or the squash. The squash is for Pa. Mama wanted us to see how things are grown from seeds and wants me to keep track on the blog to show the progress. She said we need to pray for rain everyday!!

James was HERE!!!

Yayyyyyy!! James (and Josh & Lauren) came for a visit! James would not let go of me. He is so sweet. They need to move here, so I can hold him and play with him ALL the time!! He says my name " Joooo- C". On Saturday we ate supper with Josh and James and Papa Joe. Sunday we went to Papa Joe's and spent the night with them. Monday we went to the Zoo and Hannah and JoAnna came too. Tehn we ALL went to Nana's for James' Birthday Party. He likes being center of attention. Tuesday we went back to Nana's to see them and to get Jeb. He spent the night with Hannah at her house. Whew, Spring Break is only half way over!! YAYYYY!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!

I am 9!!!!! For my birthday my family, Grandmama, Pa, Papa Joe, JoAnna, Hannah, Bubba, Madison, Payton, Hannah Holder went to Ryan's to eat and then the girls spent the night at my house. Me,Madison,Payton,Hannah B.,Hannah H.,JoAnna, and Grandmama spent the night in our basement. We had sooooo much fun. We got to paint some crafts and watch a movie and stay up late. Yayyyy me!

A Word from Mama...

This is Mama talking...
" I wanted everyone to know how proud I am of Josie for being Student of the Month AND she will be honored tomorrow for making 'A' honor roll. She has received an 'A Team' shirt, an award, and her picture will be taken on Friday for the newspaper. I will add a pic of her later! WAY TO GO JOSIE!! Love you to pieces!!!!"

Jebby's Hurt!!

Jeb fell playing football with Jackson and broke his collar bone last Thursday. He is in a sling and taking medicine for the pain. Thats all the doctors will do because they can't put on a cast. Jeb is feeling better now except while he is sleeping.

Annie at the Fox Theater!!!!

Me, Mama and Madison went to the Fox Theater to see Annie on Friday night! It was REALLY awesome!!We had 5th row seats and could see everything up close. We saw the orchestra pit people with their instruments. We had sooooo much fun!! Mama's favorite part was the "Hard Knock Life" song. And we all liked the girl that played Molly. Me and MAddie sang in the van until we both fell alseep!!

We got facials!

Me, Jackson, and Jeb got facials from Mama. I like getting facials and pedicures. We really looked silly!!!!
